All adults at The Woodland Federation of Peak District Schools understand that children learn and develop in different ways and at different rates. Teachers and teaching assistant recognise this and adapt their teaching styles, resources and ensure that they plan different levels of work in the classroom to cater for the various ways children learn. However, many children, at some point in their school life, will require some additional support.
We will talk to parents/carers if staff think their child ha a special educational need and let the know how the school can give support.
